Signs of Cold Temperatures in Wild blue phlox
Symptoms
Wild blue phlox tolerates cold well and flourishes when temperatures are above 65℉. In winter, it needs to stay above 50℉. If the temperature drops below 32℉, while no immediate changes might be seen in winter, reduced or absent sprouting could occur in spring.

Symptoms
In summer, Wild blue phlox should be maintained below 75℉. When temperatures go above 85℉, the plant's leaves might lighten, curl, get sunburned, and in severe cases, the whole plant could wilt and dry out.
Solutions
Remove any parts that are sunburned and dried. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
