Signs of Cold Stress in Narrow-leaved ash
Symptoms
Narrow-leaved ash tolerates cold well and grows optimally when temperatures are above 60℉. In winter, maintain temperatures above 50℉. If temperatures drop below 32℉, while no immediate winter damage may be apparent, branches can become brittle and dry in spring, with no new growth.
Solutions
In spring, remove any dead branches that have not produced new foliage.

Symptoms
In summer, Narrow-leaved ash should be kept below 75℉. When temperatures exceed 86℉, the plant's leaves may lighten in hue, their tips may dry and shrivel, and the plant becomes more prone to sun damage.
Solutions
Remove any sun-damaged and desiccated portions. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from the midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade fabric. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
