Signs of Cold Stress in Yellow loosestrife
Symptoms
Yellow loosestrife tolerates cold well and flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 60℉. In winter, it needs to be maintained above 50℉. If temperatures drop below 40℉, while no immediate winter changes might be apparent, spring may see reduced or absent sprouting.
Solutions
In spring, remove any sections that have not sprouted.
Signs of Heat Stress in Yellow loosestrife
Symptoms
During summer, Yellow loosestrife should be kept below 70℉. When temperatures surpass 80℉, the plant's leaves might lighten, curl easily, suffer sunburn, and in extreme cases, the entire plant could wilt and dry out.
Solutions
Remove any parts that are sunburned and desiccated. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from intense midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade fabric. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
