Fan clubmoss tolerates cold well, but winter temperatures should stay above 41℉. If temperatures fall below this point, while winter changes might not be obvious, spring may see reduced or absent sprouting.

Symptoms
Fan clubmoss does not handle high temperatures well. When temperatures exceed 77℉, growth ceases, and the plant becomes more prone to rot.
Solutions
Remove any sun-damaged or dried-out portions. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
