Signs of Cold Temperatures in Almond willow
Symptoms
Almond willow tolerates cold well and flourishes when temperatures are above 60℉. In winter, maintain temperatures above 50℉. If temperatures drop below 32℉, while winter changes might not be obvious, branches can become brittle and dry by spring, with no new growth appearing.
Solutions
In spring, remove any dead branches that haven't produced new foliage.
Signs of High Temperatures in Almond willow
Symptoms
In summer, Almond willow should be kept below 75℉. When temperatures exceed 85℉, the plant's leaves may lighten in color, their tips might dry and wither, and the plant becomes more prone to sunburn.
Solutions
Remove any sun-damaged and dried sections. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth for cover. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
