Cape myrtle tolerates cold moderately and flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 50℉. In winter, it needs to stay above 40℉. If temperatures drop below 35℉, leaves might begin to sag. Mild cases allow recovery, but severe cold causes leaves to wither and drop.
Solutions
Remove any parts damaged by frost. Before further cold exposure, cover the plant with materials like non-woven fabric or cloth, and build a windbreak to shield it from harsh winds.

Symptoms
In summer, Cape myrtle should be maintained below 70℉. When temperatures surpass 85℉, leaf coloration fades, leaf tips may dry and shrivel, leaves might curl, and the plant becomes more prone to sunburn.
Solutions
Cut off any parts that are sunburned and dried. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from the midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth for cover. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
