Signs of Cold Stress in Paleface
Symptoms
Paleface is resilient to cold and flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 60℉. In winter, maintain temperatures above 50℉. If temperatures drop below 40℉, while winter changes might be unnoticeable, branches can become brittle and dry by spring, preventing new growth.
Solutions
In spring, remove any dead branches that haven't produced new foliage.
Signs of Heat Stress in Paleface
Symptoms
During summer, Paleface should be kept below 80℉. When temperatures surpass 90℉, the plant's leaves may lighten, tips might dry and wither, and it becomes more prone to sunburn.
Solutions
Remove any sun-damaged and desiccated sections. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
