Ideal Temperature for Turnsole

Signs of Cold Stress in Turnsole
Symptoms
Turnsole tolerates cool conditions moderately well and flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 75℉. In colder months, maintain temperatures above 60℉. Should the temperature drop below 50℉, foliage may begin to sag. Minor instances allow for recovery, but severe cases lead to wilting and eventual leaf drop.
Solutions
Remove any parts damaged by frost. Before subsequent exposure to low temperatures, cover the plant with materials like non-woven fabric or cloth, and erect a windbreak to shield it from cold drafts.
Signs of Heat Stress in Turnsole
Symptoms
In summer, Turnsole should be maintained below 85℉. When temperatures surpass 95℉, leaf coloration fades, leaf tips might dry and shrivel, leaves may curl, and the plant becomes more prone to sun damage.
Solutions
Prune off any sun-scorched and desiccated sections. Relocate the plant to an area offering protection from intense midday and afternoon sun, or deploy a shade cloth for cover. Water the plant during morning and evening hours to maintain soil moisture.
