Signs of Cold Stress in Indian coral tree
Symptoms
Indian coral tree tolerates cold well and flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 68℉. In winter, it needs to be maintained above 59℉. If the temperature drops below 50℉, while no immediate winter changes might be apparent, branches can become fragile and parched by spring, preventing new growth.
Solutions
In spring, remove any lifeless branches that haven't developed new foliage.
Signs of Heat Stress in Indian coral tree
Symptoms
During summer, Indian coral tree should be kept below 86℉. When temperatures surpass 95℉, the plant's leaves might lighten in hue, their tips could dry and shrivel, and the plant becomes more prone to sun damage.
Solutions
Cut off any sun-damaged and desiccated sections. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from the midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade fabric to provide cover. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
