Barbados lily tolerates cool conditions moderately well, flourishing optimally when temperatures exceed 65℉. In winter, it needs to stay above 60℉. If temperatures drop below 50℉, foliage may begin to sag. Minor cases allow recovery, but severe exposure leads to wilting and eventual leaf drop.
Solutions
Remove any parts damaged by frost. Before future cold spells, cover the plant with materials like non-woven fabric or burlap, and build a windbreak to shield it from cold gusts.

Symptoms
In summer, Barbados lily should be maintained below 75℉. When temperatures surpass 80℉, leaves lighten in color, tips may dry and shrivel, foliage might curl, and the plant becomes more prone to sun damage.
Solutions
Cut off any sun-scorched and desiccated sections. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from intense midday and afternoon sun, or deploy a shade cloth for cover. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
