Indications of Low Temperature in Large-leaved aster
Symptoms
Large-leaved aster tolerates cold well and flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 60℉. Throughout winter, maintain temperatures above 50℉. Should the temperature drop below 32℉, while no immediate winter changes might be apparent, reduced or absent sprouting could occur in spring.
Solutions
In springtime, eliminate any sections that have not sprouted.
Indications of High Temperature in Large-leaved aster
Symptoms
In summer, Large-leaved aster should be maintained below 75℉. When temperatures surpass 85℉, the plant's foliage may lighten, curl easily, suffer from sun damage, and in extreme cases, the entire plant might wilt and desiccate.
Solutions
Remove any sun-scorched and dried-out portions. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from the midday and afternoon sun, or employ a shade cloth for cover. Irrigate the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
