Signs of Cold Temperatures in Winter's bark
Symptoms
Winter's bark tolerates cold well and grows optimally when temperatures exceed 60℉. In winter, it needs to be maintained above 50℉. If temperatures drop below 40℉, while no immediate changes might be apparent in winter, branches can become fragile and parched by spring, preventing new growth.
Solutions
In spring, remove any dead branches that have not produced new foliage.
Signs of High Temperatures in Winter's bark
Symptoms
In summer, Winter's bark should be kept below 75℉. When temperatures surpass 85℉, the plant's leaves might lighten in hue, their tips could dry and shrivel, and the plant becomes more prone to sun damage.
Solutions
Remove any sun-damaged and desiccated sections. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from the midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth for cover. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
