Signs of Cold Stress in Cutleaf teasel

Cutleaf teasel tolerates cold well and flourishes when temperatures are above 60℉. In winter, it needs to stay above 50℉. If temperatures drop below 40℉, while winter changes might not be obvious, spring may see reduced or absent sprouting.

Symptoms
In summer, Cutleaf teasel should be maintained below 75℉. When temperatures surpass 85℉, the plant's leaves might lighten, curl, get sunburned, and in extreme cases, the whole plant could wilt and dry out.
Solutions
Remove any parts that are sunburned and dried. Relocate the plant to a spot offering shade from the midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
