Signs of Cold Stress in Swamp loosestrife
Symptoms
Swamp loosestrife tolerates cold well and grows optimally when temperatures exceed 60℉. In winter, temperatures should remain above 45℉. If the temperature drops below 30℉, while no immediate changes might be apparent in winter, reduced or absent sprouting could occur in spring.
Solutions
In spring, remove any sections that have not sprouted.
Signs of Heat Stress in Swamp loosestrife
Symptoms
In summer, Swamp loosestrife should be maintained below 75℉. When temperatures surpass 85℉, the plant's leaves may lighten, curl, become prone to sunburn, and in severe instances, the entire plant might wilt and dry out.
Solutions
Remove any sun-damaged and desiccated portions. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
