Signs of Cold Stress in Cocoplum
Symptoms
Cocoplum favors warm conditions and cannot withstand low temperatures. It flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 68℉. In winter, it needs to be maintained above 59℉. If the temperature drops below 50℉, its foliage might lose some color. Following frost damage, the leaves progressively turn brown or black, and signs like wilting and drooping can appear.
Solutions
Remove the parts affected by frost. Promptly relocate the plant indoors to a warm setting for protection from cold. Select a location near a south-facing window for the plant, ensuring plenty of sunlight. Furthermore, avoid positioning the plant close to heating units or air conditioning vents to prevent excessive air dryness.

In summer, Cocoplum should be kept below 86℉. When temperatures go above 95℉, the leaves' color fades, and the plant becomes more prone to sunburn.
Solutions
