Signs of Cold Stress in Tree anemone
Symptoms
Tree anemone tolerates cold well and flourishes when temperatures are above 55℉. In winter, maintain temperatures above 45℉. If temperatures drop below 32℉, while winter changes might not be obvious, branches can become brittle and dry by spring, with no new growth appearing.
Solutions
In spring, remove any dead branches that haven't produced new foliage.
Signs of Heat Stress in Tree anemone
Symptoms
During summer, Tree anemone needs temperatures below 75℉. When temperatures go above 85℉, the plant's leaves might lighten, tips could dry and shrivel, and it becomes more prone to sunburn.
Solutions
Remove any parts that are sunburned and dried. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from the midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade fabric for cover. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
