Signs of Cold Stress in Wild rosemary
Symptoms
Wild rosemary tolerates cold well, but winter temperatures should stay above 41℉. If temperatures fall below this, while winter changes might not be obvious, branches can become brittle and dry by spring, with no new growth appearing.
Solutions
In spring, remove any dead branches that haven't produced new foliage.
Signs of Heat Stress in Wild rosemary
Symptoms
Wild rosemary does not handle high temperatures well. When temperatures exceed 68℉, significant leaf loss can occur, and in severe cases, the plant may wilt and perish entirely.
Solutions
Remove any sun-damaged and dried sections. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
