Signs of Cold Stress in Fly poison
Symptoms
Fly poison tolerates cold well and grows optimally when temperatures exceed 68℉. In winter, it needs to stay above 59℉. If temperatures drop below 50℉, while no immediate winter changes might be seen, spring may bring reduced or absent sprouting.
Solutions
In spring, remove any sections that did not sprout.
Signs of Heat Stress in Fly poison
Symptoms
In summer, Fly poison should be maintained below 77℉. When temperatures surpass 86℉, the plant's foliage might lighten, curl, become prone to sunburn, and in severe instances, the whole plant could wilt and dry out.
Solutions
Remove any sun-damaged and desiccated portions. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from the midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth for cover. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
