Symptoms
Persian clover exhibits significant cold hardiness, but winter temperatures must remain above 40℉. Should temperatures fall below this point, while no immediate issues might be apparent in winter, a reduction or complete absence of sprouting could occur in spring.
Solutions
During spring, eliminate any sections that have not germinated.
Signs of Heat Stress in Persian clover
Symptoms
Persian clover does not thrive in elevated temperatures. When the temperature surpasses 75℉, its development ceases, and it becomes more prone to decay.
Solutions
Remove any parts that are scorched by the sun and dried out. Relocate the plant to an area offering protection from the midday and afternoon sun, or employ a shade cloth for cover. Irrigate the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
