Ideal Temperature for Staggerweed

Signs of Cold Stress in Staggerweed
Symptoms
Staggerweed tolerates cool conditions moderately well and flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 60℉. In winter, maintain temperatures above 50℉. If temperatures drop below 45℉, foliage may begin to sag. Mild cases can recover, but severe cases lead to wilting and eventual leaf drop.
Solutions
Remove any parts damaged by frost. Before further exposure to cold, cover the plant with materials like non-woven fabric or burlap, and build a windbreak to shield it from cold drafts.
Signs of Heat Stress in Staggerweed
Symptoms
In summer, Staggerweed should be maintained below 75℉. When temperatures surpass 85℉, leaves lighten in color, tips may dry and shrivel, foliage might curl, and the plant becomes more prone to sunburn.
Solutions
Prune off any sun-scorched and desiccated sections. Relocate the plant to an area offering protection from the midday and afternoon sun, or deploy a shade cloth for cover. Irrigate the plant in the morning and evening to ensure soil moisture.
