Signs of Cold Stress in Mini Monstera
Symptoms
Mini Monstera thrives in warmth and cannot withstand cold. Optimal growth occurs when temperatures exceed 65℉. In winter, maintain temperatures above 60℉. Below 50℉, leaves may lose color. Post-frost, they progressively turn brown or black, exhibiting wilting and drooping.
Solutions
Remove frost-affected areas. Promptly relocate indoors to a warm spot for protection. Position near a south-facing window for sufficient light. Avoid proximity to heaters or AC vents to prevent air desiccation.
Signs of Heat Stress in Mini Monstera
Symptoms
In summer, Mini Monstera should remain below 80℉. Temperatures above 85℉ cause leaves to lighten and increase susceptibility to sun damage.
Solutions
Prune off sun-scorched and desiccated sections. Relocate the plant to a shaded area during peak sun hours. Water in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
