Signs of Cold Stress in Sheep's-bit
Symptoms
Sheep's-bit tolerates cold well and flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 60℉. In winter, maintain temperatures above 50℉. If temperatures drop below 40℉, while winter changes might be unnoticeable, spring may see reduced or absent sprouting.
Solutions
In spring, remove any sections that have not sprouted.
Signs of Heat Stress in Sheep's-bit
Symptoms
During summer, Sheep's-bit should be maintained below 70℉. When temperatures surpass 80℉, plant leaves may lighten, curl easily, suffer sunburn, and in severe instances, the whole plant might wilt and dry out.
Solutions
Remove any sun-damaged and desiccated portions. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth. Water the plant in the morning and evening to keep the soil damp.
