Signs of Cold Stress in Tibetan hellebore
Symptoms
Tibetan hellebore tolerates cold well and flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 60℉. In winter, it needs to be maintained above 50℉. If temperatures drop below 45℉, while no immediate changes might be apparent in winter, there could be reduced or absent sprouting in spring.
Solutions
In spring, remove any sections that have not sprouted.
Signs of Heat Stress in Tibetan hellebore
Symptoms
During summer, Tibetan hellebore should be kept below 75℉. When temperatures surpass 85℉, the plant's foliage might lighten, curl, become prone to sunburn, and in severe instances, the entire plant could wilt and dry out.
Solutions
Prune off any sun-damaged and desiccated portions. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from the midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth for cover. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
