Signs of Cold Stress in Alkali seaheath
Symptoms
Alkali seaheath tolerates cold well and flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 60℉. In winter, maintain temperatures above 50℉. If the temperature drops below 40℉, while winter changes might be unapparent, reduced or absent sprouting could occur in spring.
Solutions
In spring, remove any sections that have not sprouted.
Signs of Heat Stress in Alkali seaheath
Symptoms
In summer, Alkali seaheath should be maintained below 75℉. When temperatures surpass 85℉, plant leaves may lighten, curl, become prone to sunburn, and in severe instances, the whole plant might wilt and dry out.
Solutions
Remove any sun-damaged and desiccated portions. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
