Signs of Cold Stress in Bearmat

Bearmat tolerates cold well, but winter temperatures must stay above 32℉. If temperatures fall below this, while no immediate changes may be seen, branches can become brittle and dry in spring, with no new growth appearing.

Bearmat does not handle high temperatures well. When temperatures go above 75℉, it may shed many leaves, and in severe cases, the whole plant might wilt and die.
Solutions
Cut off any parts that are sunburned and dried. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from the midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth. Water the plant in the morning and evening to keep its soil damp.
