Symptoms
Broom sedge does not tolerate elevated temperatures well. When temperatures surpass 77℉, its development ceases, and its vulnerability to decay increases.
Solutions
Remove any scorched or desiccated portions. Relocate the plant to an area offering protection from the midday and afternoon sun, or employ a shade cloth for cover. Hydrate the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
