Graceful sedge tolerates cold well and flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 60℉. In winter, it needs to stay above 50℉. If the temperature drops below 35℉, while winter changes might not be obvious, spring may see reduced or absent sprouting.

Symptoms
During summer, Graceful sedge should be maintained below 75℉. When temperatures surpass 80℉, the plant's leaves might lighten, curl easily, suffer sunburn, and in extreme cases, the whole plant could wilt and dry out.
Solutions
Remove any parts that are sunburned and dried. Relocate the plant to a spot offering shade from the midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth for protection. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
