Signs of Cold Stress in Tamanu
Symptoms
Tamanu thrives in warmth and cannot withstand cold. Optimal growth occurs above 68℉. In winter, maintain temperatures above 59℉. Below 50℉, leaves may lose color. Post-frost, they turn brown or black, showing wilting and drooping.
Solutions
Remove frost-damaged sections. Relocate indoors to a warm area for protection. Position near a south-facing window for sufficient light. Avoid placing near heating or AC vents to prevent air dryness.
