Cretan bryony tolerates cold well, but winter temperatures should stay above 45℉. If temperatures fall below this point, while no immediate winter changes may be apparent, spring sprouting could be reduced or absent.

Symptoms
Cretan bryony does not handle high temperatures well. When the temperature goes above 75℉, its development ceases, and it becomes more prone to decay.
Solutions
Cut off any sun-damaged and desiccated portions. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from intense midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
