Ideal Temperature for Ground plum
Images of Ground plum
Indications of Low Temperature in Ground plum
Symptoms
Ground plum tolerates cold well and flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 65℉. In winter, maintain temperatures above 50℉. If the temperature drops below 30℉, while no immediate winter changes might be apparent, reduced or absent sprouting could occur in spring.
Solutions
In spring, remove any sections that have not sprouted.
Indications of High Temperature in Ground plum
Symptoms
During summer, Ground plum should be maintained below 75℉. When temperatures surpass 85℉, plant leaves might lighten, curl, become prone to sunburn, and in severe instances, the entire plant could wilt and desiccate.
Solutions
Remove any sun-damaged and dried portions. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade fabric. Water the plant in the morning and evening to keep the soil damp.
