Signs of Cold Stress in Low baby's-breath
Symptoms
Low baby's-breath tolerates cold moderately and flourishes best when temperatures exceed 60℉. In winter, maintain temperatures above 50℉. Below 32℉, leaves may begin to sag. Mild cases can recover, but severe cases lead to wilting and eventual leaf drop.
Solutions
Remove frost-damaged sections. Before further cold exposure, cover the plant with materials like non-woven fabric or cloth, and build a windbreak to shield it from cold gusts.
Signs of Heat Stress in Low baby's-breath
Symptoms
In summer, Low baby's-breath should be kept below 75℉. When temperatures surpass 85℉, leaves lighten in color, tips may dry and shrivel, leaves might curl, and the plant becomes more prone to sunburn.
Solutions
Prune off any sunburned and desiccated portions. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
