Signs of Cold Stress in Doubleclaw
Symptoms
Doubleclaw tolerates cold well and flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 75℉. In winter, it needs to stay above 60℉. If temperatures drop below 50℉, while winter changes might not be obvious, spring may see reduced or absent sprouting.
Solutions
In spring, remove any sections that did not sprout.
Signs of Heat Stress in Doubleclaw
Symptoms
In summer, Doubleclaw should be maintained below 85℉. When temperatures surpass 95℉, the plant's foliage might lighten, curl, become prone to sunburn, and in severe instances, the whole plant could wilt and dry out.
Solutions
Remove any sun-damaged and desiccated portions. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
