Indications of Cold Temperatures in Shining cranesbill
Symptoms
Shining cranesbill tolerates cold well and flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 50℉. In winter, it needs to stay above 41℉. If temperatures drop below 32℉, while winter changes might not be obvious, spring may see reduced or absent sprouting.
Solutions
In spring, remove any sections that have not sprouted.
Indications of Warm Temperatures in Shining cranesbill
Symptoms
In summer, Shining cranesbill should be maintained below 68℉. When temperatures surpass 77℉, the plant's leaves might lighten, curl easily, suffer sunburn, and in extreme cases, the whole plant could wilt and dry out.
Solutions
Remove any sun-damaged and desiccated portions. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from the midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade fabric. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
