Signs of Cold Temperatures in Frying pans
Symptoms
Frying pans tolerates cold well and grows optimally when temperatures are above 60℉. In winter, it needs to be maintained above 50℉. If the temperature drops below 40℉, while no immediate changes might be seen in winter, there could be reduced or absent sprouting in spring.
Solutions
In spring, remove any sections that did not sprout.
Signs of Hot Temperatures in Frying pans
Symptoms
During summer, Frying pans should be maintained below 75℉. When temperatures surpass 85℉, the plant's leaves might lighten, curl, become susceptible to sun damage, and in extreme cases, the whole plant could wilt and dry out.
Solutions
Remove any parts that are sunburned and dried. Relocate the plant to an area shaded from the midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
