Signs of Cold Stress in Richweed
Symptoms
Richweed tolerates cold well and grows optimally when temperatures exceed 60℉. In winter, it needs to stay above 50℉. If temperatures drop below 40℉, while winter changes might not be obvious, spring may see reduced or absent sprouting.
Solutions
In spring, remove any sections that have not sprouted.
Signs of Heat Stress in Richweed
Symptoms
In summer, Richweed should be maintained below 70℉. When temperatures surpass 75℉, the plant's foliage might lighten, curl easily, suffer from sunburn, and in severe instances, the whole plant could wilt and dry out.
Solutions
Remove any sun-damaged and desiccated portions. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from intense midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
