Symptoms
Large camas tolerates cold well and flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 60℉. In winter, it needs to be maintained above 55℉. If the temperature drops below 45℉, while no immediate changes might be apparent in winter, reduced or absent sprouting could occur in spring.
Solutions
In spring, remove any sections that have not sprouted.

Symptoms
During summer, Large camas should be maintained below 70℉. When temperatures surpass 75℉, the plant's foliage might lighten, curl easily, become prone to sun damage, and in extreme cases, the entire plant may wilt and desiccate.
Solutions
Remove any sun-damaged and dried-out portions. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from the midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade fabric to provide cover. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
