Signs of Cold Stress in Field brome
Symptoms
Field brome exhibits exceptional cold hardiness, but winter temperatures should remain above 32℉. Should the temperature fall below this point, while no immediate changes might be apparent in winter, a reduction in sprouting or even a complete lack of sprouting could occur in spring.

During spring, remove any sections that have not successfully sprouted.
Signs of Heat Stress in Field brome
Symptoms
Field brome does not tolerate elevated temperatures well. When temperatures surpass 75℉, its development ceases, and it becomes more prone to decay.
Solutions
Remove any parts that are scorched by the sun and dried out. Relocate the plant to an area offering protection from the midday and afternoon sun, or employ a shade cloth for cover. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
