Signs of Heat Stress in Dense-flowered mullein
Symptoms
During summer, Dense-flowered mullein needs temperatures below 75℉. When temperatures surpass 85℉, leaves may lighten, curl, and suffer sunburn; in extreme cases, the whole plant can wilt and dry out.
Solutions
Remove any sun-damaged and desiccated portions. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
