Signs of Cold Temperatures in Miami mist
Symptoms
Miami mist tolerates cold well and flourishes when temperatures exceed 60℉. In winter, it needs to stay above 50℉. If temperatures drop below 40℉, while no immediate winter changes might be seen, spring may bring reduced or absent sprouting.
Solutions
In spring, remove any sections that did not sprout.
Signs of High Temperatures in Miami mist
Symptoms
In summer, Miami mist should be maintained below 75℉. When temperatures surpass 85℉, the plant's leaves might lighten, curl easily, suffer sunburn, and in extreme cases, the whole plant could wilt and dry out.
Solutions
Remove any parts that are sunburned and dried. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from the midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth for cover. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
