Ideal Temperature for Beach sunflower

Signs of Cold Stress in Beach sunflower
Symptoms
Beach sunflower tolerates cool conditions moderately well and flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 68℉. In colder months, it needs to be maintained above 57℉. If the temperature drops below 41℉, its foliage might begin to sag. Minor cases allow for recovery, but severe instances lead to wilting and eventual leaf drop.
Solutions
Remove any parts damaged by frost. Before subsequent exposure to low temperatures, cover the plant with materials like non-woven fabric or cloth, and build a windbreak to shield it from cold gusts.
Signs of Heat Stress in Beach sunflower
Symptoms
In summer, Beach sunflower should be kept below 77℉. When temperatures surpass 86℉, the foliage lightens in color, leaf tips may dry and shrivel, leaves might curl, and the plant becomes more prone to sun damage.
Solutions
Cut off any sun-scorched and desiccated sections. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from intense midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth to provide cover. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
