Signs of Cold Stress in Haujillo
Symptoms
Haujillo tolerates cold well and flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 60℉. In winter, maintain temperatures above 50℉. If temperatures drop below 40℉, while winter changes might be unnoticeable, branches can become brittle and dry by spring, preventing new growth.
Solutions
In spring, remove any dead branches that haven't produced new foliage.
Signs of Heat Stress in Haujillo
Symptoms
During summer, Haujillo should be kept below 85℉. When temperatures surpass 95℉, the plant's leaves may lighten in hue, tips might dry and shrivel, and it becomes more prone to sun damage.
Solutions
Remove any sun-damaged and desiccated sections. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from intense midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade fabric. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
