Indications of Cold Temperatures in Brome-like sedge
Symptoms
Brome-like sedge tolerates cold well and flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 60℉. In winter, it needs to be maintained above 55℉. If the temperature drops below 40℉, while no immediate changes might be apparent in winter, reduced or absent sprouting could occur in spring.
Solutions
In spring, eliminate any sections that have not germinated.
Indications of Warm Temperatures in Brome-like sedge
Symptoms
During summer, Brome-like sedge should be maintained below 75℉. When temperatures surpass 80℉, the plant's foliage might lighten, curl, become prone to sun damage, and in severe instances, the entire plant could wilt and desiccate.
Solutions
Remove any sun-damaged and dried-out portions. Relocate the plant to an area offering protection from the midday and afternoon sun, or employ a shade cloth for cover. Irrigate the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
