Ideal Temperature for Tumbleweed

Signs of Cold Stress in Tumbleweed
Symptoms
Tumbleweed tolerates cold well and flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 60℉. In winter, it needs to be maintained above 50℉. If the temperature drops below 40℉, while no immediate changes might be apparent in winter, reduced or absent sprouting could occur in spring.
Solutions
In spring, eliminate any sections that did not sprout.
Signs of Heat Stress in Tumbleweed
Symptoms
In summer, Tumbleweed should be kept below 85℉. When temperatures surpass 95℉, the plant's foliage might lighten, curl, become prone to sun damage, and in severe instances, the whole plant could wilt and desiccate.
Solutions
Remove any sun-damaged and dried-out portions. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from the midday and afternoon sun, or employ a shade cloth for cover. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
