Everglades palm tolerates cool temperatures moderately well and flourishes when temperatures exceed 65℉. In winter, it needs to stay above 50℉. If the temperature drops below 40℉, its leaves might begin to sag. Mild cases can recover, but severe cases lead to wilting and eventual leaf drop.
Solutions
Remove any parts damaged by frost. Before future cold spells, cover the plant with materials like non-woven fabric or cloth, and build a windbreak to shield it from cold gusts.

Symptoms
In summer, Everglades palm should be maintained below 85℉. When temperatures rise above 95℉, leaves lighten in color, tips may dry and shrivel, leaves might curl, and the plant becomes more prone to sunburn.
Solutions
Cut off any sunburned or dried sections. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from the midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth for cover. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
