Signs of Cold Stress in Argentine senna
Symptoms
Argentine senna tolerates cold well and flourishes when temperatures exceed 65℉. In winter, maintain temperatures above 60℉. If temperatures drop below 50℉, while no immediate winter changes may be apparent, branches can become brittle and dry by spring, with no new growth emerging.

In spring, remove any dead branches that have not produced new foliage.

Symptoms
In summer, Argentine senna should be kept below 75℉. When temperatures surpass 85℉, the plant's leaves may lighten in hue, their tips may dry and shrivel, and the plant becomes more prone to sun damage.
Solutions
Remove any sun-damaged and desiccated portions. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade cloth for cover. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
