Ideal Temperature for Gallant soldier

Gallant soldier tolerates cool temperatures moderately well and flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 65℉. In colder months, it needs to be maintained above 50℉. Should the temperature drop below 41℉, its foliage might begin to sag. Minor cases can lead to recovery, but severe instances will cause leaves to wither and eventually detach.

Remove any parts damaged by frost. Before subsequent exposure to low temperatures, cover the plant with materials like non-woven fabric or cloth, and build a windbreak to shield it from cold gusts.

In summer, Gallant soldier should be kept below 77℉. When temperatures surpass 86℉, the leaves' color fades, tips may become dry and shriveled, leaves might curl, and the plant becomes more prone to sun damage.

Prune off any sunburnt and desiccated sections. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from the midday and afternoon sun, or deploy a shade cloth for cover. Irrigate the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
