Ideal Temperature for Sun spurge

Sun spurge favors warm conditions and cannot withstand low temperatures. It flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 60℉. In winter, it must be maintained above 50℉. If the temperature drops below 41℉, foliage may lose its vibrant color. Following frost damage, the hue progressively shifts to brown or black, and signs like wilting and drooping might appear.

Remove the sections affected by frost. Promptly relocate indoors to a warm setting for protection from cold. Select a location near a south-facing window for the plant, ensuring abundant light. Furthermore, avoid positioning the plant near heating units or AC vents to prevent excessive air dryness.

In summer, Sun spurge should be kept below 75℉. When temperatures surpass 85℉, the leaves' color fades, and the plant becomes more prone to sun damage.

Prune off the sun-scorched and desiccated portions. Transfer the plant to an area that offers shelter from the midday and afternoon sun. Irrigate the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
