Signs of Cold Stress in Himalayan cypress
Symptoms
Himalayan cypress tolerates cold well and flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 60℉. In winter, maintain temperatures above 50℉. If temperatures drop below 32℉, while no immediate winter damage may be apparent, branches can become brittle and dry in spring, with no new growth appearing.
Solutions
In spring, remove any dead branches that have not produced new foliage.

Symptoms
During summer, Himalayan cypress should be kept below 75℉. When temperatures surpass 85℉, the plant's leaves may lighten in hue, tips might dry and shrivel, and it becomes more prone to sun damage.
Solutions
Remove any sun-damaged and desiccated sections. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from intense midday and afternoon sun, or deploy a shade cloth. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
