Ideal Temperature for Buffalo gourd

Buffalo gourd exhibits a moderate resilience to cold and flourishes optimally within a temperature range of 70℉ to 85℉. Throughout the winter, temperatures should not drop below 60℉. Should the temperature fall beneath 50℉, the foliage may darken. In extreme instances, waterlogging, wilting, and drooping might occur, with leaves progressively turning brown.

Remove any parts damaged by frost. Promptly relocate the plant indoors to a warm setting or construct a temporary greenhouse for protection against cold. When bringing the plant inside, select a spot near a south-facing window to ensure adequate light. If natural light is insufficient, artificial lighting can be used.

In summer, Buffalo gourd should be maintained below 85℉. When temperatures surpass 95℉, the plant's development decelerates, its leaves lighten in hue, and it becomes more prone to sun damage.

Prune off any parts that are sunburned and dried out. Relocate the plant to an area offering shade from the afternoon sun. Irrigate the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
