Indications of Cold Conditions for Pacific coralroot
Symptoms
Pacific coralroot tolerates cold well and flourishes optimally when temperatures exceed 55℉. In winter, it needs to be maintained above 45℉. If the temperature drops below 40℉, while no immediate changes might be apparent in winter, there could be reduced or absent sprouting in spring.
Solutions
In spring, remove any sections that have not sprouted.
Indications of Warm Conditions for Pacific coralroot
Symptoms
During summer, Pacific coralroot should be kept below 75℉. When temperatures surpass 85℉, the plant's foliage might lighten, curl, become prone to sun damage, and in extreme cases, the entire plant may wilt and desiccate.
Solutions
Remove any sun-damaged and dried portions. Relocate the plant to a spot offering protection from midday and afternoon sun, or use a shade fabric. Water the plant in the morning and evening to maintain soil moisture.
